John S. Rossi
Admitted to Illinois bar, 1991. Preparatory education: Loyola University of Chicago (B.S. 1986). Legal education: University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign, Illinois, (J.D., 1991). Activities: Co-Editor and contributing writer for the law school student newspaper, the Caveat; Student Bar Association Committee Member. Former Assistant State’s Attorney, Will County, Illinois. Former Assistant States Attorney, Peoria County, Illinois. Member: Illinois State Bar Association and Will County Bar Association. Arbitrator, Will County Arbitration Center.
John is a former felony and DUI prosecutor in the counties of Will and Peoria, Illinois. He has been practicing in the field of matrimonial and family law for almost two decades, and acts as an appointed mediator for Will County family mediations. He also acts as a court-appointed guardian ad litem and is an experienced real estate and probate attorney.
Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, John is an avid sports fan and also enjoys reading and films. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Cathedral of St. Raymond, and remains active in the church. He is a former president of the Will County Bar Association and a current member of the Rotary Club of Joliet. John is available for representation in Family Law, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Adoption and Real Estate matters.
